1What is DDRPT?

DDRPT is a quick practice test. Military recruiters use it to check people before they take the real ASVAB. (ASVAB is short for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery.) It is not an official test. It helps recruiters guess how well you will do on the real military test.

"DDRPT" is the name of the website where you take these practice tests. Recruiters from the Army, the Army National Guard, and other branches use it. It helps them check you fast. Then they send you to MEPS for the real ASVAB. (MEPS stands for Military Entrance Processing Station.)

Important Note

DDRPT is NOT an official military test. It is a practice test. It helps guess how well you might do on the real ASVAB. Your DDRPT score does not count when you join. Only your real ASVAB score from MEPS counts.

2How DDRPT Works

The DDRPT works like flashcards. It asks about the same kinds of subjects as the ASVAB. Each question shows up on a "card." You flip the card to see the answer.

Are you getting ready for DDRPT or the real ASVAB? These study tips will help you get your best score.

1. Take Practice Tests Often

The best way to get ready is to practice with questions like the ones on the test. Use our free practice quizzes. They help you learn how the test looks. They also show what you need to work on.

2. Focus on Your Weak Areas

After a practice test, look at which topics were hard for you. Spend extra time on them. DDRPT can also show you which topics to work on.

3. Build Your Math Basics

Math is a big part of the ASVAB. Go over basic math, fractions, percents, algebra, and shapes. Practice word problems. Try to solve them fast and get them right.

4. Learn More Words

Word Knowledge is one of the four AFQT subjects. Read often. Learn new words each day. Use flashcards to learn what words mean. Word parts, like the start or end of a word, can help you figure out new words.

5. Practice Using Your Time

The real ASVAB has a time limit. Practice answering fast, but still get them right. If you get stuck on a question, make your best guess and move on.
